Data Sheet
Residential and commercial flue side neutralizing tubes are designed to raise the PH level of the condensate discharged by high efficiency boilers and warm air furnaces. The condensate traveling through the JJM tubes has it's PH level increased by approximately 10-30 times higher towards a more neutral point.
The PH level of condensate is the measurement of the water's acidity or alkalinity, 7 PH is considered to be neutral and safe for material and the environment. PH levels below 7 are considered to be acidic; the level of acidity can damage such materials has cast iron soil pipe, ABS pipe, septic tanks, plants, wastewater treatment plants, and materials not limited to these. A PH of 4 is 10 times more acidic than a PH of 5, our tubes are designed to raise the PH level approximately 10-30 times higher towards a more neutral level.
